For the first time since 1990 the World Para Biathlon Championships and the World Para Nordic skiing Championships are not including in each other.
The Championships 2020 in Östersund will be an important step in the future of the biathlon sport and it will give the athletes more competition opportunities during the season.
Östersund will become the perfect host for the Championships because of their long history and experience of organizing this type of competition.
The competitions in the Jämtland region are in accordance with the IPC Östersund Declaration which works for a center for the development of Winter Para Sports and we are looking forward to continue that journey together with the Para Sport Movement and the Åre-Östersund 2023 World Para Snow Sports Championships.
